We started our journey up the Rhine river from this point in St. Johann, Basel. It was a beautiful scenic cruise with iconic bridges. In the summertime lots of people line the edge of the water for picnicking and bathing.

Nice place, very good infrastructure, free WiFi near the terminal. Everything perfect like most of the things in Basel.

A terminal that has been deliberately created to facilitate embarkation and disembarkation of river cruise passengers. It comes with an elevator and escalator!

Not easy to find even though it is right on the river as you have to walk behind a residential neighborhood to find it.
